The C6A is the original professional industry standard configuration from Cosmic Ears, championed and trusted by the most respected artists, engineers and musicians in the music industry, since our inception. The C6A hosts 6 balanced armatures per side (2 low, 2 mid, 2 high). Delivering an intricate, detailed, wide and layered soundscape, the C6A brings out the very best in every track and composition - Think stadium-grand, with truly concise sound from the full audio spectrum.
Like all Cosmic Ears models the C6A is built with their innovative Solid Acoustic Mass Shell (SAMS) which provides enhanced isolation, fit and durability. They also include ModTEc, their proprietary balanced armature driver format, extensive R&D has allowed them to package the individual drivers and crossovers into one solid module - The same tried and tested Cosmic Ears sound, from one source. Their Shock Dampening Membrane (SDM) also works in unison with SAMS, the SDM is another layer of protection that defends the ModTec drivers from the rigours of everyday and on-the-road life. Additionally their Pro-Phase Audio delivers industry-leading flat phase response so all of their ModTec drivers work in perfect harmony, and, finally their TunR configurations are designed using a custom-built development chamber which allows the sound to be tuned in unison with the resonance of the ear canal.
For the Cosmic Ears C6A you will need to have ear impressions, these will need to be made by us or an audiologist and are not included in the price, please allow in the region of £80 for these.
